DKT is an engineering company in Ankara (Ostim), Türkiye, working on machine design and industrial software. Every welding robot we deliver carries our own machine vision system: a camera scans the weld seam continuously and corrects any drift by itself, and laser distance sensors keep the torch distance constant. On our robot arms, AI recognises the chalk mark drawn by the welder and puts the weld there. We build the robot or welding carriage to your needs or source it ready-made; the vision system, integration and software are ours.
Two products, one set of eyes
- Welding carriage with seam tracking: For long seams on tanks, silos and pipes. It travels on a rail; the camera follows the seam and 2 lasers keep the torch distance constant.
- AI welding robot arm: Your welder marks the weld spot with chalk, AI recognises the mark and the robot welds the nearest seam. No robot programming for each new part.
Why a welding robot with machine vision?
- Skilled welders are hard to find: The camera does the job of following the seam by eye, so you need less operator time.
- Robot programmers are even harder to find: On the robot arm a chalk mark defines the weld spot; no point-by-point teaching is needed.
- Consistent seams: The camera keeps the torch on the seam centre and the lasers hold the distance between torch and part.
- Welding power source of your choice: We select the welding machine together, based on your needs and preference.
How we work
Tell us about the job
Send photos and dimensions of the part and the welding process on WhatsApp.
Choose the robot
Welding carriage or robot arm: we decide together, then build or source the robot to your needs.
Vision and software
We fit the camera, laser sensors and software to your robot and tune the seam tracking.
Commissioning
We commission the robot on site and show your operator how to use it.
Tell us about your welding job
Photos and dimensions of the part are enough. We will tell you which robot fits and give you an indicative budget.
Welding robot price
Welding robot price depends on robot type, reach, welding machine, fixture and vision scope. You will find the cost items and a calculator for how many months the robot takes to pay for itself on our welding robot price page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you manufacture the robots?
Depending on the customer’s needs, we either build the robot or welding carriage ourselves or source it ready-made. The machine vision system, camera and laser integration and the software are DKT’s.
Is the welding machine included?
The welding power source is chosen according to your preference. We select the right machine for your job together.
Do I need to program the robot?
On the robot arm your welder marks the weld spot with chalk; AI recognises the mark and the robot welds the nearest seam. So there is no classic robot programming for every new part.
Which jobs are they suitable for?
The welding carriage suits long seams on tank, silo and pipe bodies; the robot arm suits short and scattered seams on different parts. If unsure, send us a photo of your part.
Do all your robots have machine vision?
Yes. We fit our vision system, a camera plus laser distance sensors, to every welding robot we build or source.
